Got the vehicle running and am now needing to fine tune... Timing is next and I am wondering if I should time the jeep (66 CJ-5 225 V6) with the vacuum advance attached or not. I can get the info on where to time it to through the book but it does not say whether to time it with the advance on or off. This is how I am going to do it.

    1. Engine warm
    2. Vacuum advance plugged
    3. What RPM should I use?
    4. What degree of timing should I set?

After I connect vacuum advance what should the total timing be?
