    It will be wider, but the 1.5" wider axle is what everybody uses for early CJs. Most cars have a wider front track than rear. The 82-on axles are even wider. The spring perches will be in the right place.

    the guy said a couple hundred. we will see. Much more than that and I've got to hustle craigslist and such to get the dollars back. The wife is only so patient with my Elvis budget. I'd like to sell enough parts to pay for rebuilding the axle and regearing it, etc.
