Can anyone tell me where I might find a self adjuster mechanism for an 11 inch rear brake on a 1970 CJ5? I'm missing the one on the left rear. It consists of 2 rods about 4 and 6 inches long, a pivot, and a small clip that snaps on the brake shoe and rides on the adjuster.

First, '70 didn't have 11" brakes, it had 10" brakes. Big difference. You need to I'd what you have for sure as 11" brakes is a common conversion. You measure the inside of the drum. From your description it sounds like you have 10". Many parts for these are available new, but some aren't First I'd put a want to buy (wtb) ad in the classifieds section as someone here may have these parts laying around. Also check out the sticky post at the top of this section called where to find parts. One of those vendors like R&P, Hermtheoverdriveguy, Partsmike, etc may have some used or new old stock parts.

You're right. Don't know why I said 11 inch. I already bought new drums and shoes, which are 10". I guess I had 11 on the brain from all of the reading I've been doing. Thanks for the reply.
