Electrolysis

    I did my frame. It was a lot of prep work, but saved a lot of dirty work. Here's a link http://s337.photobucket.com/albums/n382/jmottophoto/frame/ The pictures are in no particular order. The end result the frame had no rust on it, I was amazed. It took about 3 days. I had to set the charger on 2 amp. Anything more and the internal breaker would trip. In the name of science I sacraficed an insect into the bath. It made its way to the electrode climbed up and flew away. I still didn't stick my hand in while the charger was hooked up. I used washing soda, something like 15 boxes.

    My project stalled, but I need to do this to my exhaust manifold. Maybe this weekend. Thanks for the inspiration.

    Correct. Then what you would have is an underwater welder.
