So im just been crawling around under the jeep these last couple of weeks and have been noticeing more and more items that I need to fix. And the Tranmission mount doesnt look to be in good shape. The jeep is a 66 with the 225 v6 with a t86 transmission and and the 18 as well. The problem im having is were to get a trans mount for this transmission. Ive read on hereabout it being different and a bit of a pain to get, but does anybody have a clue were to get one. The one i have right now looks like the photo attached

Yep, looks pretty much like a standard T90 tranny mount only with a piece of metal bolted to the top.

That would make sense - the T-86 is basically a T-90 with helical splines on the main shaft and beveled first-reverse gears. Not much difference...

The mount is the same for the T-86 and T-90.

And another question for you guys. The dana 18 transfercase. The hockey puck, for the mount, is it the same as the 20 transfercase.
Ive been getting most, if not all of my info from you guys on this forum, and have beentrying to educate myself form what others have done.

    thanks again

Nope. The 18 used a unique mount between the two.
