I have the 225 Dauntless, I have tried searching but did not find much, maybe just me. So where do you find a rebuild kit for the 225 Buick???? Thanks a ton...

Check with your machine shop. You are going to have to have them do the machine work, so they will likely give you a decent deal on all the hard parts. I've rebuilt quite a few engines and I've never been able to beat the prices of my local shop.

I would check with the machine shop as well. They usually meet or beat any price you can find due to the volume they purchase. Also, some machine shops will only warranty the engine if they use their parts.

More importantly if the block is being bored the pistons should be matched to the bore. Without the pistons to measure it's next to impossible for the block to be bored/honed for the correct clearances.
