I am new to this forum, I also have a CJ-3B and have used that forum frequently.
I am thinking about converting the original mechanical clutch linkage and pedals on my 68 CJ-5 to an overhead pedal/hydraulic set up similar to the wranglers. I have disc brakes all around and I still have the 225 cuin. V-6 and T-14 tranny in the jeep.
Has anybody done this and what did you do with the slave cylinder mounting? Also the heater is an issue, but can be solved with one mounted under the dash. The clutch arm now is pulled by a stock cable and I think that would be where a bell crank and a mount for the slave could be installed?

Do a search on it - lots there and some by me. I am putting another setup in right now using the speedway slave and wilwood master setups.

    Hey Dick68,
I made my own roller chain clutch linkage about 20 years ago, and have not had a bit of trouble since!! Picked a sprocket, a hardened pin for the axle for the sproket to ride on, along with a piece of retangle tube and a flat piece to bolt to the frame. Check out my rebuilding pics, theres a few in there of my homemade linkage. If you want closer pictures let me know?
