70 hood latch

Ok!, can't find an answer in any threads.
I have a 1970 CJ5. I needed to replace the hood, and I found a 69 in pretty good shape, so I bought it. My question is, did the 69 use the center hood latch or just the ones on either side? The hood matches up with my 70 grill but there is no slot for the center hood latch to hold the hood down. Any help would be appreciated, also any pictures of the 70 hood. (Mine was borrowed from the side of my house while i've been working on rebuilding my jeep).

 

My Daughter's '70, built in mid '69 has the center latch fwiw. I could get a pic tomorrow.

 

My 1970 has hood latches on the side. I think they went with whatever the purchasing department got the best buy on.

They all have the side latches. I know my 70 came with the center latch originally, but I can't remember if a 69 has it or not. You should be able to cut a hole for it if desired-IIRC it's just a rectangular opening.
