Oil Pan?

    Kicked up a big rock with our '48 Willys and may have punctured the oil pan on the 225 v6. Haven't had time to find the leak yet but wondered if there is a hole in the pan, can it be welded or would I need to look for another one?

    Just steel. Can be welded. I'd recommend removing it, cleaning thoroughly, welding, then leak testing with water or something similar.

    Might be a good time to add a skid plate of some sort to the bottom. I did that with my 231 before I put it in the '59.
