I'm trying to have the local NAPA store get the right outer tie rod with the hole for the steering link. They can't find it. Anyone know the MOOG or NAPA part number?

I got mine from Speedway. It has a double taper hole for a tie rod flip if needed.

i am almost certain that it is the same one that is used for the center tree on the original ross set up. it works on the passenger side. I did mine this summer and pretty sure thats the one it was. Don't know the number.

Don't know the number off the top of my head but R&P and I believe Hermtheoverdriveguy both stock those.

Guess I'm ordering online. We have 3 local parts stores and all of them say 7-10 days and prices range from $88 to $125 for a MOOG ES140L

I got mine from THEJEEP.com. I think that was the name. if your interested in ordering from them I can make sure. it was like 42 dollars, a little cheaper than your getting it for. took about three days to get it.

Ok, I got it. it is the jeep.com, under turner 4wd parts company. 17.99, 1945-71 tie rod end with the hole in it. took me a min to find it on the site, just type in "tie rod end" at top of page and it will come up. hope this helps.
