hey guy this maybe sound like a stupid question but i need to know what you guy have been true.
2 year ago i've put new leaf under my jeep but first thing i see that my spring were to soft. A professionnal shop put 2.5 inch large leaf under the jeep. Last sping i change my front spring for procom 4 inch leaf and i found big change in my handling. I also try to put my front spring (that i just replace by the procomp) at the rear because the were having more leaf. But my front leaf spring are shorter than the rear and that's where my problem is. Is that normal? because i want to but the 4 inch kit from procomp to put it at the rear but i want to make sure that it's normal that rear is longer than the front?

    Year/model?

Leaf is lift? So you put a 4" lift under the Jeep?

Yes, it's normal that the rear springs are longer than the front. You cannot use the fronts on the rear, or vice-versa.

Sorry Tim, 1975 cj 5 with 360. I already do have a 4 inch leaf lift but the rear spring are very cheap and they are flat leaf at the moment. That's why i want to replace them. The suspension has been done two year ago by a professionnal shop (the worst job ever seen in my life) so this time i am doing it myself.
