I just re-read Lynn's writeup on the D30 swap. My question is how to resolve the different size yoke size between the D30 and the Model 18. My guess is that a Model 20 front output yoke will fit on the 18. Lynn. if you are out there or anyone else that knows please give me a heads up.
    Thanks

Think I read somewhere they do swap 18/20. May be wrong though.
Another option is a custom drive shaft. ;)

    Get a 10 spline front output from a D20, fits like a glove ;)

As Joe said above. Then you can run a front drive shaft with the bigger ujoints. I like having all 4 drive shaft ujoints the same size.

Check carefully, IIRC there are 2 different spline counts available for the D20 front output. Be sure you get the one that matches the count on your D18, 10 spline per Joe.

When I did my dana 30 swap with a 73 axle, I used a front drive line from a 4cyl jeep( I had broke two of the small v6 yokes). I did install a larger yoke on my Dana 18 also from a 4cyl and hand no interference issue with the T- 14.

    P.S
I'm in the process of installing drive lines from a 72 blazer that had a dana 20 installed. The rear driveline is the same length as my stock one and the front one has a double caridian(spelling ?) joint and is the same length and they both have the same u-joint size.
