    How do you remove the reverse gear shaft from a T-18 transmission? Is it from the inside out if so what do you use to remove it.

    It's removed from the inside to the outside of the case. The outside end is a slightly larger diameter so DON'T drive towards the inside of the case. A long punch works ok. I actually built a special driver that's off set to drive those out, but I do LOTS of T-18's. Nickmil.

    thanks, I tried the long punch from the inside just didnt want to hit it too hard encase I was doing something wrong.
