Early CJ5 Windshield Channel

    I am looking for the windshield channel for a bikini top on my 61 CJ5. This CJ spent its entire life with a hard top that has now been removed. The windshield has the above the glass wiper mounts. The channel that I need appears to be arched in the middle rather than running straight across and the BestTop bikini top appears to be stiched that way as well. Best Top doesn't have the channel for the early CJ's and I haven't found it anyplace else either. Does anyone know where I can get one?

    Try searching, the question has been discussed here before.

    I got some flanged aluminum channel that worked perfectly (screwed it on) from a window-awning shop.

    The '76 and newer channel can work but doesn't look stock and is slightly narrower than the early, but it does work. The stock channel was spot welded in place. Might put a wtb ad in the classifieds. Someone might have a rusty w/s frame they can remove one from. I just sent off the one I had....
