1960 CJ5, no tire changing equipment came with the Jeep. Tires are 31" x 10.5 x R15. Would a bottle jack be fine to use on hard ground or pavement?
What size would you recommend ?

    Thanks

A bottle jack would work - that's what I have in my J-10. I'd prefer a screw jack or scissors jack for tire changing. A good screw jack or bottle jack comes with a long handle that lets you lift the tire without being under the car. None of these jacks are safe for working under the car.
