power steering pump alum. bracket(help)

    is there a better power steering pump bracket out there for my 304? Mine broke yesterday while driving down the highway the good news is it didn't hit the fan although a very close call.Look's like it's made of aluminum or something of that nature.

    Those normally don't break. Sounds like something was already wrong with it.

    I'd just replace with a factory one. you could probably find one in a junk yard on a grand wagoneer.

    Yes, you're the first I've heard complaining about the factory brackets. I too suggest that you look for a Wagoneer in the yards, and replace it. Any 304/360/401 equipped Jeep will do as a donor. Or try a WTB ad at ifsja.org
