727 automatic question

    I have deceided to go with the 727 behind the 360 in my 84 cj7. I got a rebuilt one for $300 and bolted up my dana 300 to it. My question is where do I find a mount for it? Does someone make after market ones for this tranny? Thanks

    Are you using the factory skid plate?
    I would think any mount from a S6 or V8 CJ or FSJ used with a Chrysler auto would work or be adaptable
    There is bracketry involved as well
    I can post some pics of the factory stock set-ups from the parts manual if you need visuals and/or ideas

    Yes I would like to use the factory skid plate. I need the rubber type mount that bolts to the bottom of the tranny ?

    I held the skid plate up to my tranny and t-case. Looks like the t-case hangs down a bit futher because of the new clocked position. And I dont see how I can use the factory skid plate there is about a 4 inch space??????
