.02 but just go over to g503.com. if it's truly a gpw block they will drool over it.

What info do you need? It is a Gpw engine from late 43 -44 IIRC. But I'm sure the 503 boys could narrow it down a lil better. Are you selling or fixing or ??

I don't really have a use for it, just trying to figure out if it is worth saving.

if no cracks and/or can be rebuilt it's worth $. what it's worth? whatever the next owner will pay for it but it's worth something. don't expect a gold mine. so many factors come into play.

could always get lucky and find somebody restoring a gpw who had their engine replaced with xyz engine and your engine falls in their rigs serial # build date range... wants it and has deep pockets.

your best bet is to think of it as a piece of history. find somebody restoring a gpw and help the brother out...

Absolutely worth saving.. There is a guy over in northern Colorado I know of that needs one, I'll link him to this post for ya.. I could use one myself for my 43, but cash is way low and work stopped for me last week when the boss rolled the truck I normally pilot car for.. How complete is the engine and are there any other ford marked parts like manifolds??

I finally got time to tear into the engine, .060 bore, Helicoils and broken head bolts. Manifolds are not Ford, Willys head, so far all that I see for GPW parts are the block and oil pump.
