Went to O'Reily's to order a Clutch Plate for my 225 T86 66 CJ5. Kid at the counter said they don't sell the Clutch Plate by itself. It only comes as a Clutch Kit for ~$150...Clutch Plate, Pressure Plate and Throwout Bearing...It is necessary to install these as a set? Was planning on just throwing in a simple clutch plate. Guess I may be doing the whole shabang...

    Thanks

    Mike

You could check around. There is a place relatively close to me that rebuilds clutches, normally a day turn. We just sent a two stage clutch from an International tractor to get rebuilt. I know you can mail it to them and they will mail it back if you can't find one closer.

It's best to replace them as a set hence the kit form. If the disc is worn, the pressure plate will be worn to match unless someone before you mis-matched parts.
