Identify this shift knob

    Is this a Jeep shift knob or just one off of an AMC car? It was on my 78 CJ5 when I bought it.

    I kind of like the look of it so I am going to put it back when I'm done. I'd just never seen one that wasn't the flat black style so I thought I'd ask.

    I have seen that knob before on a 83 Amc Spirit Gt, the car was all orginal un molested.
