I bought some ltbs now what width rim??

    Well I bit the bullet and bought a set of 34/10.5/15 LTB's. I was planning on using a set of 15x8 A.R. Atlas wheels that i had previously purchased. they just seem like they will be to wide. As they set they measure about 6" from bead to bead. Seems like alot to stretch the tire. I might put them on my factory wheels which are 6" wide i think. what i would really like to use is a set of aluminum renegade slots.
    Anybody have a good set of 5 to get rid of?
    My question to you all is what width are you using and why?

    Ren slots are 7" wide.
    10.5" wide tires belong on 7"-8" wide wheels, IMO.

    roadhog, I run that same tire on an 8" wide rim. No complaints. Best off road tire I've ever had and I've never busted a bead with them.

    I agree with Patrick on desired wheel width.

    I will search again on ebay. I looke the other day and did not find any. maybe i did not look in the right area. Would there be any negatives to running a 6" wide wheel?

    A 10.5” wide tire fits fine on a 8” wide rim.

    I have 33" x 10.5 on 8 inch rims and they fit perfect. Mine are BFG. No problemo.

    6 inch is a little skinny the tread may not run flat wouldn't want to wear out the middle first
