I am looking for pics from those who have stretched their tubs to be a CJ6 size. I have seen the door openings stretched, but I would like to see where and how you cut and do the splice. The frame is not that much of an issue, i am more concerned about the tub. I decided it is going to be better for me to stretch the Jeep to have more options for a drivetrain than trying to kill my self looknig for the shortest combo. And since i have only a frame and tub, it will be easier to do at this point.

Dan I looked into this pretty hard a while back, the best solution I found was add 3-6 in the door and the center of the rear wheel well. Also for a little more engine room you can stretch fenders/hood. But on a 5 that would be a lot more work than a flattie.

yeah the 5s are a bit harder. I am gonig to keep the short snout. I plan on keeping a 4 cyl or V6. No need for a monster. :)

You might want to give some thought towards stretching the body behind the door the 20 inches like the factory did, this makes it a lot easier to get a soft top that fits without going the custom route.
