Seat Upgrade

    I've got this posted in my build thread as well, but I imagine I'd get some more eyes on it out here.

    I've got the seats out of a 5 that are in good shape that I'd like to use in the flatty. Here is the drivers side riser:

    Before I go hacking into a perfectly good seat riser, how have you other guys done it? Also, I'm going to be putting a fuel tank between the frame rails over the rear axle, so the under seat tank won't be an issue. Its kinda looking like I can notch the wheelhouse and make some more room for myself, as well as creating a place for the riser to bolt to. Thoughts?

    I had it done to my 57 CJ5. I also had notches cut out of the wheel wells to allow for more backward sliding of the seats. Maybe these pics can give you some ideas..
