I am not trying to advertise these parts, and I apologize if I have done something wrong by asking this in this forum. I just want to know the value of these parts. I also understand that there could be dozens of factors that could shift the price.

I would like to get rid of the motor in my 66 CJ-5. It is what I believe the odd fire V6

I would like to get rid of the transmission.

I would like to get rid of the transfer case.

Ok I'll bite and throw out some off the top of my head numbers

Assuming everything is stock of course

Trans should be a t14 and worth 50 ish

T case should be a 18 and I gave one away last year but you might get 50-100

Engine assuming it runs I would think 500 but since I see the carb off I can assume it's a non runner? If non running most will consider it a core and maybe 100-200?

    Good luck

Thanks. All I was looking for was a ball park. I don't want to rip anyone off. It is one thing to get a fair price, but quite another to rip someone off. Thanks again.

For a core motor that doesn't run, a few hundred at most. Odd-fire V6s are not rare.

If the buyer can see/hear it run, more.

And your 66 should have came with a T-86 not a T-14. This tranny is a hard one to come by if it is in good shape. Usually they were broken and a T-90 put in place or some other tranny. Only someone wanting to go original would be looking for the T-86.

$100 for tranny and transfer case together.
    $50 for the motor, (core)
    $250-$350 for the whole Jeep.

FWIW, I paid $100 for my odd fire 225 V6. I got everything from the radiator to the bell housing, including those two parts. It was a runner and he even pulled it for me out of the '68 Commando.
