i have searched and searched and can not find anyone including all the local flaps that sell just the rubber seal for the cover for the master cylinder that mounts on my frame on the driver side. is this the stock location? i say "cover" of the master cylinder meaning the cover that has a bolt going through the middle of it and is the top where you pour your brke fluid. am i searching for the wrong name or what? any help would be great

I'm pretty sure I remember seeing universal fit seals in the HELP! section down at Pep Boys or Autozone.

If you cant find it at flaps, Beechwood Canvas has OEM ones for sale (huge $) and Brent Mullins Jeep parts (do a google search) has them for much less. However it is cast iron instead of aluminum alloy. For M38s but fit and work fine on CJs.
