Hard to say from the pics. When I put the 225 in my flatty I hooked up the engine tranny t-case combo up and hung it in place complete. Then began measuring front and rear, side to side. It took a while to get everything where I wanted moving it and bumping it back and forth measuring each time until I had it where I wanted it.

Not sure which 'right' as some go from the front, others sitting in the seat.

You would normally move the motor to the D Side - clearance for the front drive shaft. You can be a few degrees off laterally, but use the yokes as your targets. Don't forget to get a couple degrees tail down angle too on the motor.

Big ole jig saw puzzle. Nice to think about exhaust manifolds, steering shaft and power steering pump, brake master, fan and radiator alignment. Also air cleaner clearance. As well as driveline and shifter linkage angles. Without thinking about all the systems together, you will end up with rework.

eng should be down about 2 in by front cross member looking at the crank pully
with a 2 inch downward slop to rear , dist cap should have about 2 inch clearance from firewall
and off set aprox 3 inches to the left to clear starter and drive shaft alignment
