Brake Line Kit

At Quadratec, I can get a preformed stainless brake line kit for $169 by Omix, or at 4WD Hardware, I can get one made by Classic Tube for $275. What's the difference?

If I was to buy pre-bent ss line I'd go with the omix.

Personally, after years of bending and flaring line I bought a flaring tool. If you wait they go on sale for $150 (what I paid) it was money well spent.

I haven't bought either set but I have bent and faired my own lines before. The advantage to the pre-bent lines -- as far as I've seen -- is that they are less work and have the wound wire for gravel protection on the front-facing lines.

 

I didn't know if it may be contributed to USA made vs not. I know the omix stuff I have bought has not been USA made. Go figure....
