I have a chance to buy an original plow for my CJ5...what would be a fair price for all of the components...plow..mounts..hydro unit (belt pulley drive)?. Are these common?

I've been looking for one for the past few months now, and it really depends on your location and whether a snow storm is predicted. Here in VA people think they are gold, and are asking anywhere between $200 and $750, generally on the higher side. In NH where my family is, however, the going rate seems to be between $100 and $300. If you keep your eyes open you can probably pick up the plow without hydraulics for around $50 and use an ATV winch or build hydrolics to lift the plow.

if you can get the plow for a decent price it would be a good pick up especially this time of year. and yes the plows with hyralics are common i have the manual angle plow i like it. and the problem u may have with a 4wheeler plow, is that it is too light and will ride on top of the snow. instead of pushing it and scraping the ground.
