gonna try to put brakes on the back of my '66 again today....finally got the drums off after a LOT of work...I had a busted wheel cylender...I bought a repair kit and rebuilt them, and tried putting the shoes back on...These puppies are strange to say the least...they don't have normal hold down springs, they have a long "c" shaped clip to hold the down and the top springs aren't very long...they aren't hooked into the holes on the shoes, they are on the little notches on the bottom of the shoe....I'm gonna use standard springs and hold down springs on it...When I tried earlier, the plungers that go into the wheel cylenders would shift and aim upward whenever I attached the springs....anyone ever had this happen?
