Radiator Shroud?

To add to my own post, the quadratec shroud says it fits 6 blade fans. If you click that link it says the fan works on 72 and up. I think the shroud date range is wrong and should say 72 up also.

You're probably right...I can't think of any reason the fan shroud would differ for pre76 CJ's. The Grilles, hoods, fenders, and engines are all interchangeable.

 

I bought a new radiator and shroud from 4wheel Parts. The shroud is the same one I noted from quadratec, an omix-Ada. It has the 74 up label on it so I am trying it for my 73. I pulled the old fiberglass one off tonight and pulled the old radiator. First thing I notice is the bolt holes in the original shroud were made bigger to line the shroud up centered on the fan and to be able to bolt through the same radiator mount holes. I test fitted the new plastic one, and the holes will have to be wallowed out as well. Maybe there is a slight difference and my 73 jeep had a 74 shroud. Dad bought it in 79 so the previous owner may have installed it.
