Hello, does anyone know if these type of seats will need to be modified...Meaning, besides bolting to the frame, will my body not be too close to the steering wheel or my legs won't rub against the steering wheel..?.. I am adding a link to the place where these seats read;..... :?

I have those same seats in my 1957 and it doesn't bolt directly to anything because the factory seats didn't have a seperate frame, the springs and fabric were attached directly to the tubular frame. I was upset when I received them, but that was 10 years ago.
I managed to fab something crude to attach the seats by cutting the back off my old frame, but it sits very vertically and is pretty uncomfortable.
If you are looking for a restoration and don't have your original seats then those are pretty close, but be aware that you are going to have to fab up a mount for them. On that note if anyone would like to make me some seat brackets I'd gladly buy them from you!

Thanks jonnyc1999 for replying back...Yes, I have whatever is left from the original seat frame to bolt on some seats....When you mentioned ncomfortable, is it a tight squeeze to get into and out of and drive...or just plain uncomfortable?... :(

Just a heads up, the stock '57 frames are different than the later, around '58 or '59 to '71 seats and frames. Those could work fine on the later frames.

    That's good to know Jeepo, I didn't know that:tea:

The way that my seats sit on top of the seat frames cause it to sit really high, which puts my line of sight towards the top of the windshield frame. The seat does sit close to the stearing wheel as well, but I think it might be due the the near vertical seat back. If you have the ability to fab custom frames and lean it back the seats aren't bad.

Just off the top of my head the front of the seat needs to be ~3" above the tank and the back sits on the gas tank.
