I just put on a new Bestop Tiger Soft Top on my 69 CJ5. The doors aren't fitting at the top and at the rear of the door, there's a gap between the door and the top big enough to put my hand through. Has anybody else had this problem and what to do to correct it?

    HELP!!

Did you check the measurement from the windshield to the back of the tub? You may need to adjust the windshield position.

If the door just looks like it isn't closing far enough, they need to be adjusted (bent).
Bend the door frame until it touches/ fits. We need a pic.

Yes, I check the measurement from the W/S frame to the back of the tub, directions said it should measure 69 1/2 inches, and it does.

I thought about bending it, but wasn't sure..I'll post pix tomorrow..

It seals good (going counterclockwise) from mid way of the top of the door towards the front down the front to the bottom, acorss the bottom all the way around to the door handle, but from the door handle up to mid way of the top of the door is a big gap..

All of my Supertops have required a lot of bending to get the doors to fit.

I'm having to do the same with the Daughter's Tigertop. Not a big deal. I've had to do in the past with the older Bestop's and the old Kayline I had years ago too, although the Kayline didn't require as much adjustment.
