cj6 softop

    hi folks...

    in researching softops for my 73' cj6, the only top i have found is the tigertop...

    looking at this pic, would you think this is an aftermarket, custom or NOS offering?

    any insight on where one might find something like this? to me it looks like canvas vs the nogahyde tigertop...

    The first pic appears to be a tigertop that was dyed a different color or a custom made top. If you look at it close it is a CJ-6 tiger top, not an M-170 (military CJ-6, military version made before the CJ-6 was manufactured).

    The problem with a CJ-6 is the minimal offerings due to the minimal production run of the CJ-6.

    I was fortunate to find a nos Kayline that I purchased from a member here several years ago. Think the tigertop is the only game in town for a new top unless you pay to have a custom made
