Fuel Gauge OHMs

    what ohms are read at empty and full?? trying to match a sending unit.

    From what I read.. 70 to 10 ohms. That being said, I am having trouble with mine. I put resitors in series with the sensor wire (no sending unit) and 1 ohm would make the guage read full and around 6 would read near empty. Been scratchin' my head over this one for a while...

    is 10 ohms empty and 70 full?

    i think i have found the sending unit i need. but i want to make sure it is not backwards. i will be using a 16 gallon jaz fuel cell

    73 ohms empty and 10 ohms full. half tank is 23 ohms.
