    Hi Folks,

    I recently became the new owner of a '73 CJ-6 with the stock narrow-trac 30 & 44.

After a handful of years on the Rubicon as a passenger, it was time for my own rig and fell in love with the 6.

I have been contemplating ARB's front and rear, as the jeep will see more street than trail (but the Jamboree in July is the goal)

If I invest in the ARB's, I'll likely invest in new, larger spline axles as well.

I have found D30 30-spline axles and D44 31-spline axles from Alloy USA.

ARB's dont have a D44 / 31 spline option, so I would like to find either 30 or 33 spline for the rear. I didn't find what I was looking for on Superior's website, and searching here and other fourms I didn't come up with a good source for the narrow-trac axles.

    You guys have any thoughts?

    Thanks in advance,

    obarrett

Might want to contact Alloy USA and verify the spline count. It is odd they would offer a shaft that is not the stock 30 spline count.

EDIT: Just checked. Alloy USA does not list a Dana 44 application for a Narrow Track CJ. http://www.alloyusa.com/jeep-rear-axles.html You may want to double check your source for those shafts.

Edit again: nevermind. Just found it listed. Very odd spline count to be offering.

    thanks for the replies gents..

alloy usa got back to me this morning via email..
    they say #21147 is a 30 spline.

i asked them to clarify the 31 spline description in the listing, as i thought it was odd offering.
