How did you mount your shocks?

    Looking for pictures of people who have done a spring over and relocated their shocks or stretched the front out a little bit and what they ended up doing with the shocks. Kind of blank on how im going to do mine. Thanks.

    I don't have any real good pics at the moment. I can take some later today. I took a piece of rectangle tubing and sectioned it so I had 2 pieces of angle iron. then I welded tabs to it for the shock bolt. I drilled two holes in the angle so it would fit over and be held by the u-bolts, on top of the spring plate. Someone gave be the bolt-on towers, I have no idea what they came off of.

    On the rear I just welded tabs to the axle tube and used a stock upper mount that I moved to the right location. With everything painted black it's really hard to see any detail on the fronts. I'll see if I can get some better pics today. You can just weld tabs to the front tube too.

    up front ----ford shock mounts ,,, the stamped ones not the cast ones .[​IMG]

    in back , hoops,with a 1" bar tieing them both together, since my factory rear x-member looks like it popped the welds.

    Thanks guys. Thats exactally what I was looking for. Im using my bilstein 5100's that came off my GMC so I got to plan accordingly. They should be long enough or so im hoping.
