I am starting to make some initial plans for my 1969 :v6 build. The tub, fenders everything appear to be hosed. At least beyond what I want to deal with, I am sure many on here could deal with it, but I dont have the patience for that stuff.

I am planning on, after I get the frame, engine, tranny and everything ready to use a NEW tub from either KaiserWillys or Walcks, probably Kaiser in this case. Walcks is usually cheaper on everything, but in the case of Tubs, Kaiser has em beat.

Back to my question, I was looking at the original color chips for 1969, and am really leaning toward the "Spring Green"

    My 1960 is Peacock Blue..

I really like using some of the colors that off the "beaten path" as you rarely see them. HOWEVER, does the Spring Green seem a bit, shall we say, light in the loafers? I am also wondering how it would look with the black windshield frame..

I guess I am just having a difficult time visualizing this right now.

Spring Green looks a whole lot better than the paint chip appears, IMO.

    I'm partial to Red........

I like the pale colors and the enamel styled finish (non-metalic) these vehicles have, came with. If, or when I do a next one it will be a very light powder blue.
