scout Dana 44 spindle work on CJ Dana 44?

    Will a Scout II Spindle/rear hub work on a Dana 44 from my 1965 CJ-5?

    I'm starting to put together the parts for the full floater conversion

    nickmil In mothballs.

    The front wheel bearing hub will work. The scout 2 Dana 44 spindles use 8 bolts to retain them not 6 like the Jeep. They can be re-drilled however. The Scout 2 Dana 30 drum brake spindles were 6 bolt just like Jeep.
    The Scout 2 didn't use a hub in the rear. They had flanged axles so not sure what you are asking here.
    Realize that the spindles must be machined to work regardless.
