I'm about to order a rear valence panel for my 75 CJ6, but I can only find ones listed for early CJ5's.
Do you guys know if they are the same?
    Thanks,
    Okkie.

Oh yes, the supplier is Classic Enterprizes.

Not sure which part you are referring to, but all the CJ-6 body parts are the same as the CJ-5, except for where the body is stretched. The front clip gets longer by 5" with the '72 models, but the rest of the body is the same through '75 except for minor details like the type of script used for the Jeep logo.

    I'll try to explain.
On the rear, there is an tailgate opening surround piece, which also have the hooks for the tailgate chain.
Underneath that, at the bottom of the tub, there is a piece that is basically part of the tub, and includes the two rear body mounts. That is the piece I'm looking at.
As far as I know, the rear of the Jeeps stayed pretty much the same, except for maybe the lettering on the tailgate?

    Ahhh...found a pic!

Those guys you are ordering from want $30 to tack weld the 2 clips on that valance? Hiway robery. But if I didn't have a welder I think I would be forced to bolt them on.

Good point, but the rear of my Jeep is completely gone, so I need that panel to get at least some point to work from.

They want $20 to weld them on. $20 is for the two supports. There's a $40 difference in price between the valance with and without the supports. The supports separately are $10 each.

If you need additional peace of mind...Classic does good work. I purchased a floor riser, side panel repair strips, and more than one "L" bracket to fix my CJ5...all parts were excellent quality and fit. You won't be disappointed.
