I replaced the add-on adapter plate and endlebrock 4 barrel that PO had put on the 2 barrel manifold. 77 cj5 BTW.....Put a rebuilt ford/autolite 2 barrel..no place to plug the pcv hose. Is there supposed to be a plate onder the carb besides just the thick gasket? I know there is on a ford but never had much experiance with a 304 in a jeep. Could someone post a picture maybe? Thanks:

The carb on my CJ-6 has the same problem. The Ford carburetors use a phenolic (plastic) insulator with a place to connect the PCV hose. If you don't have power brakes, you can connect to the big 3/8" nipple on the top of the manifold that the power brakes usually connects to. Or you can try to find the Ford insulator with a place to connect the PCV hose.
