I'm in the middle of adjusting the pinion angle on my back rear and have a few questions.

The current setup is a 4" lift, dana 44 rear and dana 20 t-case. After checking my measurements it looks like the center line of the output yoke on the tcase and center line of the output yoke on the rear are off by maybe an inch. The rear output is to the passenger side in comparison. Is this typical? I have the rear centered back in the spot it was located prior to removing the spring perches.

Next is there anyone out there that has performed this process with a 4" lift that kept using the stock driveshaft? After laying it in there it looks as if it will work with the possiblilty of having no vibration.

The offset is normal, I had the same question before. As far as stock d-shaft goes, you might need a cv style. I am running a 2in lift with a T-18 and my angles are good but I get some vibes around 40-45 mph. I am planning on a CV soon.

Yea the angle with the 4" bound the d-shaft but now with the rear pinion pointing at the output yoke -2 degrees or so even the upper angle looks not too shabby. Thanks for confirming the offset!

you could check it at droop , jack up the body, till the wheels are off the ground and spin , it will probably bind then ,
