    OK I am curiouse.
Tell me what you can about Jeeps in Mexico. I know a gentleman with a intermediate CJ5 74 or 75 that has a VAM #. The block has a 2011022.
I have not seen this Jeep. It has a I6 with a 3 speed side shifter trany that I understand looks to be a factory job. I am told that the floor boards look perfect and un modified.
So anyone know anything about these CJ's?

They produced jeeps in mexico that were sometimes mixed and matched early and late (compared to American) styling and mechanical components.

Some trim and name changes were to suit the local market. Like the CJ Renegado or the Wagoneer Alpina.

I read that they only came with mexico produced six cylinders, no V8s.

Here is a pic of the jeep in question. Take note to the logo on the side of the fender . See anything different?
