    2 piece Strap = Flattie

    The 5's have a one piece strap just like John posted the picture of.

    I have one of those Fancy, optional, origonal Jeep/Kaiser locking caps. Great cap. You can romove the locking mechanism and replace the gasket so it doesn't leak. But, guess what??? The keyway for the lock goes clear thru from the outside to the inside below the gasket. SO, when you make a right turn, the gas just leaks out the keyway. :shock: R) I think it's a "self cleaning" mechanism! :)

    I think that's what Jeep calls a VENT! R)
