I'm a new guy looking to buy a passenger seat frame for a 74 cj5. The last owner welded a bucket seat to it and ruined the frame where it attaches to the seat. My local scrap yards don't have anything and I'm not having much luck finding one for a intermediate on the net. Any help would be appreciated.

    First, Welcome!
Second, I'd put an ad in the Classifieds section, that's what it's there for;)

You're going to have to find good used as they aren't made anymore. You might also check out the sticky post at the top of the early CJ forum titled, Where to find parts. There is a long list of vendors who may have what you need. Good luck.

    First post - Welcome!

Where are you located? Putting your general location in your header or in your sig will help.

Try J&W or Scotty's - both big wrecking yards in California. They will likely have your part. Won't be cheap though ...

Thanks to everyone. All good advice. I've haunted this site for awhile and really dig the vibe from the contributers. Once again, thanks.
