73' cj5 wiring help

    Sounds like a possible contact issue. Take a terminal cleaner to the battery terminals and the cable connectors. Then remove and wire brush the block, body, and starter ends of the cables/wire, as well as the contact surfaces. Make sure they are all snugged down also.
