alternator bracket question

    im trying to put a new alternator on 73 cj5 with 304, however new alternator does not line up. I was looking at the bracket were it bolts to motor and there is two homemade spacers. My question is does the bracket mount flat to motor or are the spacers.

    Mine has spacers. Solid is best...sometimes you have to stack washers to get it right.
