    The pertronix is only a trigger module for the coil. The standard cap has all towers on equal spacing so align TDC and compression #1. Note where the rotor is pointing and install nr#1 wire on the tower that lines up with the rotor.

    So, if I read what you (walt) are saying I can time it like any other V8 I have ever worked on? Just like I timed it the first time? Now I am thinking I was a tooth off on my timing set. This sucks. If this is the case I am am back to a carb issue.........................more tomorrow.
