I have a question for you guys running aftermarket heaters such as the Mojave. Would a cable operated heater control valve be useful? I know that they do not pull air from the outside so the forward motion of the Jeep shouldn't "push" heat into the cab through the heater. However I wasn't sure if I would want to block all coolant from entering the heater core or not.

If you don't block the coolant from circulating through the heater core you will still get heat in the cab, just not as much as with the fan running. I'd put a control valve in there. Will also allow more control over how much heat you get in the cab.

Can these hoses just be blocked off when not needed or do you still have to prove some sort of a flow path?
