68 cj 5 build "Bout time"

Well getting going on the 68 5. Got the motor and tranny and t case in place. Headers painted with the fancy stuff in a can. If anyone wanted to see how my power steering is set up Ill post my photobucket link. Used a piece of 4 inch square tubing and modded the front crossmember as it was cracked anyways. She has a buick 231 even fire, bored .30, with a comp cam rv style. Holley 4 barrel highrise intake and a holley truck avenger carb. And a set of outside the frame headers. Not installed yet is the new Mallory distributor. Anyone have a guess at what sort of HP these little motors put out with a little hop up goodies? Also used the original Flywheel of the 225 and had it balanced to the 231.

Picked up another project vehicle this week also. Got a 1953 Chevy 210 coupe with a fresh 235 straight six and all the metal work done in primer and ready for paint and interior. Thought i did pretty good on that find.
