generator to alternator switch

    hey guys, My generator gave out on me a few days ago, so im searching for how to convert to an alternator. What all does the switch require(parts)? i've searched the forums a bit and have seen that i'll need some new brackets to hold it. what kind of alternator should i get? i figured i should get a three wire one instead of a one wire.
